DADBODS DOES ALTY 10K

18 months on from our very first Altrincham DBU session, who'd have thought we'd end up entering a DBU Race Team* in the inaugural Altrincham 10k.

What a truly amazing event it was too with over 1,100 participants crossing the start line at 9.30am on a gloriously sunny Sunday 5th November.

Some of the Dads posted best ever times and we need a special mention to super DadBod (MA - you know who you are) who got around in under 42 minutes and placed in the Top 100! Now that's what we call REPRESENTING!

This writer scraped around in under 60 minutes for his first ever road race and despite being overtaken by a fancy dress toilet paper roll at 8K we all thoroughly enjoyed / endured / inured (delete as appropriate) the whole event.

We'll definitely be back next year!
